What will my child learn?
Here at Learn and Grow we provide a structured learning program that teaches school readiness concepts such as early numeracy and literacy, social and emotional development and fine and gross motor skills plus many more skills that will help ready your child for formal schooling. Children are given the opportunity to interact and engage with others their own age so that they feel ready and confident to start the journey into prep.
Learn and Grow also offers children the chance to plant, grow and harvest their own produce as well as feed and care for animals in a safe and nurturing environment.
We have created a mini farm with small children in mind, and we have chosen only the most calm natured animals that have been raised around children to ensure your child has a positive experience with us.
Our fun and engaging program includes:
Numeracy - counting, recognition of number and exposure to early mathematical language.
Pre-reading - vocabulary and phonological awareness.
Pre-writing skills - letter formation and pencil grip, fine motor and gross motor skills.
Emotional and Social skills - confidence and resilience building as well as organisation, listening, turn taking, following directions and sharing.
